Home Stitchery Decor Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

This Affiliate Program Operating Agreement (“Agreement”) contains the terms and conditions governing participation in the Home Stitchery Decor Affiliate Program (“Program”).

“Home Stitchery Decor,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Home Stitchery Decor.

“You,” “your,” and “Affiliate” refer to the individual or legal entity accepted into the Program.

“Website” means the Home Stitchery Decor website and online store.

“Affiliate Link” means a unique tracking link issued to an Affiliate through the affiliate platform used by Home Stitchery Decor.

“Affiliate Assets” means photographs, graphics, videos, written promotional copy, product information and other marketing materials made available by Home Stitchery Decor to Affiliates.

“Eligible Products” means products specifically designated by Home Stitchery Decor as eligible to earn affiliate commissions.

“Qualifying Purchase” means a purchase satisfying the requirements of this Agreement and the applicable affiliate tracking requirements.

By submitting an application, checking a box indicating acceptance of these terms, accepting enrollment in the Program or continuing to participate in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Agreement.

You represent that you are legally capable of entering into this Agreement. If you enter into this Agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

1. Description of the Program

The Program allows approved Affiliates to promote designated Home Stitchery Decor products and earn commissions on Qualifying Purchases generated through properly tracked Affiliate Links.

Only products specifically designated by Home Stitchery Decor as Eligible Products qualify for commissions.

Home Stitchery Decor may add, remove or change Eligible Products in accordance with this Agreement.

Participation in the Program does not provide an Affiliate with any ownership interest in Home Stitchery Decor, its products, intellectual property, customer relationships or other assets.

2. Eligibility and Enrollment

The Program is currently available only to approved Affiliates located in Canada.

Home Stitchery Decor may add or remove eligible countries in the future in accordance with this Agreement.

Applicants must submit complete and accurate information when applying.

Home Stitchery Decor reserves the right to approve or reject an application at its discretion.

Home Stitchery Decor may reject, suspend or terminate Affiliates whose websites, social-media accounts, applications or promotional activities:

(a) contain or promote unlawful activity;

(b) promote violence or contain violent material;

(d) promote unlawful discrimination;

(e) contain sexually explicit material inappropriate for association with the Home Stitchery Decor brand;

(f) infringe intellectual-property rights;

(g) engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices;

(h) impersonate Home Stitchery Decor;

(i) use Home Stitchery Decor trademarks, trade names, misspellings or confusingly similar variations in domain names, subdomains, social-media usernames, group names or other identifiers without authorization; or

(j) otherwise violate this Agreement or present a material risk to Home Stitchery Decor, its customers or its reputation.

Affiliates must keep their legal name, email address, mailing address, payment information and other required account information complete, accurate and current.

3. Affiliate Links and Tracking

Approved Affiliates will receive access to unique Affiliate Links.

Affiliates are responsible for using their Affiliate Links correctly.

Home Stitchery Decor is not responsible for commissions that cannot reasonably be tracked because an Affiliate used an incorrect, broken, altered or improperly formatted Affiliate Link.

Affiliates may not manipulate Affiliate Links, cookies, tracking technology or attribution systems.

4. Commission Rate

The current commission rate is 45% of the eligible product sale amount on designated Eligible Products.

Commission eligibility is determined by the products and commission settings established by Home Stitchery Decor within its affiliate platform.

Products that have not been designated as Eligible Products do not earn affiliate commission.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, taxes, shipping charges, refunds, credits, chargebacks and other amounts that are not part of the eligible product sale are excluded from the commission calculation.

Home Stitchery Decor may modify commission rates or Eligible Products in accordance with this Agreement.

5. 90-Day Cookie Duration

The Program currently uses a 90-day cookie duration.

Subject to the affiliate platform's tracking and attribution rules, an Affiliate may receive credit for an eligible purchase occurring within 90 days after a prospective customer clicks the Affiliate's properly tracked Affiliate Link.

Affiliate attribution may be affected by subsequent referral links, deleted or blocked cookies, browser privacy settings, tracking restrictions, device changes and other circumstances outside Home Stitchery Decor's reasonable control.

Home Stitchery Decor cannot guarantee attribution where the affiliate platform cannot reliably attribute a transaction.

6. Qualifying Purchases

A Qualifying Purchase generally occurs when:

(a) a customer follows a properly tracked Affiliate Link;

(b) the transaction is attributed to the Affiliate according to the Program's tracking rules;

(d) payment is successfully completed; and

(e) the transaction is not subsequently cancelled, refunded, returned, reversed, disputed, charged back, determined to be fraudulent or otherwise determined to be ineligible under this Agreement.

Approved Affiliate personal purchases may also constitute Qualifying Purchases as provided in Section 8.

Home Stitchery Decor's records and the records of its affiliate platform will be used to determine commission eligibility, subject to correction of demonstrable errors.

7. Non-Qualifying Purchases

Affiliate commissions will not be paid on:

(a) fraudulent or manipulated transactions;

(b) cancelled orders;

(d) chargebacks, payment disputes or reversed transactions;

(e) purchases of products that are not Eligible Products;

(f) transactions resulting from prohibited advertising or promotional practices;

(g) transactions that cannot be properly tracked;

(h) purchases obtained through cookie stuffing, forced clicks, automated traffic or other attribution manipulation;

(i) transactions arising from material violations of this Agreement; or

(j) other transactions determined in good faith not to constitute a Qualifying Purchase under this Agreement.

If commission has already been paid on a transaction that subsequently becomes ineligible, Home Stitchery Decor may deduct or offset the applicable amount against future commissions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Affiliate Personal Purchases

Approved Affiliates may use their own Affiliate Link when purchasing Eligible Products and may earn the applicable affiliate commission on their own Qualifying Purchases.

This benefit is intended, among other purposes, to allow Affiliates to purchase Home Stitchery Decor products for personal use, product evaluation and the creation of original promotional content.

Personal purchases remain subject to all other Program terms, including product licensing requirements, commission eligibility, payment terms, refunds and chargebacks.

Affiliate status and commissions do not provide additional ownership, redistribution, resale or commercial-use rights beyond those expressly granted with the applicable product or separately purchased licence.

Home Stitchery Decor reserves the right to reject, reverse or withhold commissions associated with fraudulent activity, abuse of the Program, duplicate or artificial transactions, or other attempts to improperly obtain commissions.

9. Ownership of Home Stitchery Decor Intellectual Property

All right, title and interest in Home Stitchery Decor intellectual property remain exclusively with Home Stitchery Decor and its applicable licensors.

This includes, without limitation, Home Stitchery Decor card designs; SVG, EPS, CDR, DXF, AI and other digital design files; the Complete Greeting Card Business Plan; business-plan bonus materials; written content; photographs; product images; videos; graphics; illustrations; marketing materials; Affiliate Assets; logos; trade names; branding; website content; product descriptions; educational materials; and other original creative works.

Participation in the Program does not transfer ownership of any Home Stitchery Decor intellectual property to an Affiliate.

10. No Claim of Ownership or Authorship

Affiliates may not claim, state or imply that they created, designed, authored, developed or own any Home Stitchery Decor product, card design, digital file, Business Plan, bonus material, photograph, graphic or other intellectual property.

Affiliates may recommend and promote Home Stitchery Decor products but must not represent those products as their own creations.

Nothing in the Program authorizes an Affiliate to remove or obscure Home Stitchery Decor's authorship, branding or ownership where displayed.

11. No Redistribution of Digital Products

Affiliate status does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute or resell Home Stitchery Decor digital products.

Unless separately and expressly authorized in writing, Affiliates may not copy, share, redistribute, resell, sublicense, upload, publish, email, transfer, give away, provide as a downloadable resource, include within another digital product or otherwise distribute Home Stitchery Decor digital products or protected materials.

This restriction includes the Complete Greeting Card Business Plan and its associated bonus materials.

12. Affiliate Status Does Not Include a Commercial Use Licence

Participation in the Program does not grant an Affiliate a Commercial Use Licence for Home Stitchery Decor card designs or other products.

If an Affiliate wishes to use a Home Stitchery Decor design commercially, the Affiliate must separately obtain the applicable Commercial Use Licence and comply with its terms.

Affiliate commissions and commercial-use rights are separate programs.

13. Affiliate Marketing Assets

Home Stitchery Decor may provide Affiliates with approved Affiliate Assets.

Home Stitchery Decor grants approved Affiliates a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use Affiliate Assets solely for the purpose of promoting Home Stitchery Decor products through the Program.

Affiliate Assets remain the property of Home Stitchery Decor.

Affiliates may not:

(a) sell Affiliate Assets;

(b) redistribute them as marketing templates;

(d) upload them to template or digital-asset marketplaces;

(e) claim authorship or ownership of them;

(f) use them to promote competing products;

(g) remove copyright or ownership notices where present; or

(h) otherwise use them outside the scope of the Program.

Upon termination from the Program, the Affiliate must discontinue use of Affiliate Assets and remove or delete them where reasonably requested by Home Stitchery Decor.

14. Home Stitchery Decor Logo and Brand

Affiliates may use only Home Stitchery Decor branding made available or approved for affiliate promotion.

Affiliates may not alter, redraw, recreate, recolour, distort or materially modify the Home Stitchery Decor logo.

Affiliates may not use Home Stitchery Decor branding in a manner that states or implies that they are Home Stitchery Decor, an employee of Home Stitchery Decor, an authorized representative of Home Stitchery Decor beyond their Affiliate status or an official Home Stitchery Decor account.

15. Accurate Product Representation

Affiliates must accurately represent products they promote.

Affiliates may not materially modify Home Stitchery Decor card artwork, digital-product imagery or other product representations and then present the altered version as the product a customer will receive.

Affiliates may not intentionally misrepresent product descriptions, prices, features, file formats, licensing rights, included materials, bonuses or availability.

16. Prohibited Brand Bidding

Affiliates may not bid on, purchase or otherwise obtain paid advertising placements using Home Stitchery Decor proprietary or branded terms without prior written authorization from Home Stitchery Decor.

Prohibited terms include, without limitation, Home Stitchery Decor, HomeStitcheryDecor, Home Stitchery Decor domain names, Home Stitchery Decor product names, collection names, trademarks, misspellings, variations and confusingly similar terms.

This prohibition includes keyword auctions, paid-search placements and other paid advertising intended to capture searches or traffic for Home Stitchery Decor's brand.

17. Paid Advertising

Affiliates may not run paid advertisements promoting Home Stitchery Decor products or using Affiliate Links without prior written permission from Home Stitchery Decor.

This includes paid advertising through Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and other advertising or sponsored-placement networks.

Any permission may be subject to additional restrictions and may be withdrawn by Home Stitchery Decor.

Organic promotion through permitted channels remains allowed subject to this Agreement.

18. No Brand Impersonation

Affiliates may not represent themselves as Home Stitchery Decor.

Affiliates may not:

(a) create websites designed to appear to be the official Home Stitchery Decor website;

(b) create social-media accounts that falsely appear to be official Home Stitchery Decor accounts;

(d) claim to be an employee or authorized representative of Home Stitchery Decor;

(e) claim authority to speak on behalf of Home Stitchery Decor; or

(f) otherwise create confusion concerning the Affiliate's independent relationship with Home Stitchery Decor.

19. Domains, Social Accounts and Usernames

Without prior written authorization, Affiliates may not register or use domain names, subdomains, social-media usernames, account names, group names, page names or other identifiers containing Home Stitchery Decor, HomeStitcheryDecor, Home Stitchery Decor trademarks, misspellings or variations, or other terms reasonably likely to create confusion with Home Stitchery Decor.

20. False or Misleading Advertising

Affiliate advertising must be truthful and accurate.

Affiliates may not make false, deceptive, unsubstantiated or misleading claims.

This includes, without limitation, false or guaranteed income claims; guaranteed business results; fake or unauthorized discounts; false scarcity; fabricated testimonials; fake customer reviews; misrepresentation of product contents; incorrect pricing; unauthorized promotions; or claims that materially misrepresent Home Stitchery Decor products.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their promotional content complies with applicable law and platform requirements.

21. Affiliate Disclosures

Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship whenever required by applicable law, regulation or platform policy.

Disclosures must be clear and reasonably noticeable to consumers.

An example disclosure is:

“I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their disclosures comply with applicable Canadian advertising and competition requirements and the policies of each platform they use.

22. Spam and Electronic Marketing

Affiliates may not promote Home Stitchery Decor through unlawful or prohibited spam.

Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable electronic-marketing, privacy and anti-spam laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation where applicable.

Affiliate Links may not be distributed through deceptive, fraudulent or unauthorized messaging practices.

23. Coupon and Deal Sites

Affiliates may not post Affiliate Links, promotional codes or purported Home Stitchery Decor discounts on coupon, deal, rebate, cashback or discount-aggregation websites without prior written permission.

Affiliates may not advertise nonexistent coupon codes or use misleading “reveal coupon,” “click to reveal” or similar mechanisms to generate Affiliate Link clicks.

Home Stitchery Decor may determine whether a website or promotional practice constitutes a prohibited coupon or deal site.

24. Fraud and Commission Manipulation

The following practices are prohibited: cookie stuffing; forced clicks; automated clicks; click injection; fake accounts; fake purchases; fraudulent transactions; tracking manipulation; unauthorized redirects; misleading redirects; commission hijacking; unauthorized coupon attribution; artificial traffic; or any other attempt to improperly obtain affiliate attribution or commission.

Home Stitchery Decor may investigate suspicious activity and temporarily hold affected commissions while reasonably investigating suspected fraud or violations.

Confirmed violations may result in cancellation of affected commissions and immediate termination.

25. Responsibility for Affiliate Content

Affiliates are solely responsible for their websites, social-media accounts, emails, videos, advertisements and other promotional content.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their content:

(a) is accurate;

(b) does not violate intellectual-property rights;

(d) complies with applicable laws;

(e) complies with applicable platform rules; and

(f) does not expose Home Stitchery Decor to claims resulting from the Affiliate's misconduct.

26. Customer Relationship

Customers purchasing from Home Stitchery Decor remain customers of Home Stitchery Decor.

Home Stitchery Decor controls its prices, product offerings, refund policies, licensing terms, customer-service policies, sales terms and store policies.

Affiliates may not make commitments, warranties, refunds, promises or contractual representations on behalf of Home Stitchery Decor.

27. Affiliate Commission Payments

Affiliate commissions are paid on a Net 30 basis, subject to this Agreement and verification that the applicable transaction is a Qualifying Purchase.

The minimum payout threshold is $25 CAD.

If an Affiliate's payable commission balance is less than $25 CAD at the applicable payout time, the balance will remain in the Affiliate's account and carry forward until the minimum payout threshold is reached.

Affiliate payouts are currently made through PayPal.

Affiliates are responsible for providing and maintaining complete and accurate PayPal payment information in their Affiliate account.

Home Stitchery Decor is not responsible for delayed or unsuccessful payments resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated payment information supplied by an Affiliate.

Only commissions associated with verified Qualifying Purchases are eligible for payment.

No commission is payable on transactions that are cancelled, refunded, returned, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, improperly attributed or otherwise determined not to qualify under this Agreement.

If commission has already been paid on a transaction that subsequently becomes ineligible, Home Stitchery Decor may deduct or offset the applicable commission against future amounts payable to the Affiliate, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Home Stitchery Decor may reasonably delay payment of commissions associated with suspected fraud, tracking irregularities, chargebacks or suspected violations of this Agreement while the matter is investigated.

28. Taxes and Tax Information

Affiliates participate in the Home Stitchery Decor Affiliate Program as independent contractors and are responsible for determining, reporting and paying all federal, provincial and other taxes applicable to their affiliate earnings.

Home Stitchery Decor does not ordinarily deduct or remit income taxes from affiliate commission payments unless required by applicable law.

Affiliates agree to provide accurate legal, contact, tax-identification and other information reasonably requested by Home Stitchery Decor when required for tax administration or reporting purposes.

Home Stitchery Decor may prepare, file or issue T4A slips or other tax information returns or documents when required by applicable Canadian law.

Nothing in this Agreement prevents Home Stitchery Decor from deducting, withholding or remitting an amount where required by applicable law.

29. Independent Contractor Relationship

Affiliates are independent contractors.

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise or other relationship giving an Affiliate authority to act for Home Stitchery Decor.

Affiliates have no authority to enter into agreements, make commitments, accept obligations or make representations on behalf of Home Stitchery Decor.

30. Confidential Information

Any non-public information supplied by Home Stitchery Decor to an Affiliate and identified as confidential, or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential, must be kept confidential.

Confidential information may be used only as reasonably necessary to participate in the Program and may not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

31. Monitoring and Compliance

Home Stitchery Decor may reasonably review publicly available Affiliate promotional activities to verify compliance with this Agreement.

Affiliates agree to provide information reasonably requested to investigate suspected violations.

Failure to cooperate with a reasonable compliance investigation may result in suspension or termination.

32. Suspension and Termination

Either party may terminate participation in the Program.

Home Stitchery Decor may immediately suspend or terminate an Affiliate for serious violations, including intellectual-property theft, unauthorized redistribution of digital products, fraud, brand impersonation, prohibited paid advertising, prohibited brand bidding, commission manipulation, knowingly false advertising, unlawful spam or material violation of this Agreement.

Termination ends the Affiliate's licence to use Affiliate Assets.

Home Stitchery Decor may withhold payment temporarily for a reasonable period after termination to account for refunds, chargebacks, fraud investigations or other legitimate adjustments.

Legitimately earned commissions not associated with prohibited conduct remain subject to the applicable payout terms and applicable law.

33. Modification of the Program

Home Stitchery Decor may modify the Program, including commission rates, Eligible Products, cookie duration, payment procedures, Affiliate Assets, eligible countries, Program requirements and other Program terms.

Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means, which may include the affiliate dashboard, Website or email.

Continued participation following the effective date of a modification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If an Affiliate does not agree to a modification, the Affiliate may discontinue participation in the Program.

34. Reservation of Rights

Except for the limited rights expressly granted under this Agreement, Home Stitchery Decor reserves all right, title and interest in its intellectual property, products, content, brand and proprietary materials.

No implied licence is granted.

35. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Affiliate agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Home Stitchery Decor and its owners, officers, representatives and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs arising from:

(a) the Affiliate's violation of this Agreement;

(b) the Affiliate's unlawful advertising or promotional activities;

(d) the Affiliate's false or misleading representations;

(e) the Affiliate's unauthorized use or distribution of Home Stitchery Decor intellectual property; or

(f) the Affiliate's negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.

36. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Stitchery Decor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from participation in the Program.

Home Stitchery Decor does not guarantee any particular level of Affiliate income, minimum number of sales, continuous availability of the Program, uninterrupted tracking technology or particular business result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Stitchery Decor's aggregate liability arising from the Program will not exceed the total Affiliate commissions paid or properly payable to the Affiliate during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

37. No Guarantee of Earnings

Participation in the Program does not guarantee income, sales, traffic, customers or other business results.

Affiliate results vary according to numerous factors, including the Affiliate's audience, promotional efforts, content, market conditions and other circumstances.

Any examples of potential commissions, sales or promotional opportunities are illustrative only and are not guarantees of future results.

38. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory rights or procedures imposed by applicable law, disputes arising from this Agreement will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Alberta, Canada.

Nothing in this Agreement prevents Home Stitchery Decor from seeking appropriate injunctive or other equitable relief concerning actual or threatened infringement, misuse or unauthorized distribution of its intellectual property.

39. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited, modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary where legally permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

40. No Waiver

Failure by Home Stitchery Decor to enforce any provision of this Agreement on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

41. Assignment

Affiliates may not assign, sell or transfer their Affiliate account, rights or obligations under this Agreement without prior written approval from Home Stitchery Decor.

42. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Affiliate Program commission schedule, applicable Program policies and other terms expressly incorporated into it, constitutes the agreement governing participation in the Home Stitchery Decor Affiliate Program.

If there is a conflict between an Affiliate's applicable commission settings within the affiliate platform and a general promotional statement concerning commissions, the commission settings applicable to the Eligible Product at the time of the Qualifying Purchase will govern, subject to applicable law.

43. Acceptance

By submitting an Affiliate application, checking a box indicating acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, accepting enrollment in the Program or continuing to participate in the Program, the Affiliate acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to this Agreement.
